Downtown Dubai is home to Dubai Opera’s season and the Burj Khalifa New Year’s Eve fireworks — one of the busiest nights of the year in the city. On New Year’s Eve the Metro is usually the easiest way in. For Dubai Opera nights, a reserved bay nearby avoids the mall car-park queues. Upcoming at Burj Khalifa & Dubai Opera: Trevor Noah at Dubai Opera, Bolshoi Theatre at Dubai Opera, New Year’s Eve fireworks at Burj Khalifa, Swan Lake on Ice at Dubai Opera, Buena Vista Social Club Legacy Concert at Dubai Opera.
